Who runs this site

Main Sequence Guide is an independent editorial website at mainsequenceguide.wiki. It is not affiliated with Tumbling Dumpling Studio, Mythwright or Valve. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

Data we collect directly

The site has no accounts, comments, checkout or newsletter signup. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send, and we use it to answer or correct the site.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare and its network may process technical information such as IP address, user agent, request path and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse and maintain reliability. Those processing activities are governed by Cloudflare’s privacy terms. We do not operate a separate visitor analytics profile in the current build.

Local browser tools

The demo checklist stores checkbox state in your browser’s local storage so it can show progress when you return. This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to the site owner and it does not synchronise across devices. You can reset it with the on-page reset button or by clearing site data in your browser.

The co-op crew planner runs in the page and does not store or submit the allocations. The countdown reads the current time in your browser. No account is required.

Advertising and Adsterra

The current build does not load advertising scripts. The site is prepared to support clearly labelled display advertising through Adsterra if a live placement is configured in a future build. If that happens, the third-party ad provider may use cookies, local storage, device information and IP address to serve, cap, measure or protect ads. Those activities are controlled by Adsterra and its partners, not by this site.

Before advertising is enabled in a way that requires consent, we expect to add an appropriate consent mechanism for the relevant regions and to update this policy with the active provider details. If advertising is never enabled, the ad script remains absent.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site’s code uses local storage for the checklist, not advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set security-related cookies for abuse prevention. If third-party advertising is enabled, additional cookies or local storage may be set by the ad provider; the consent banner and provider disclosures would apply at that time.

Links to Steam, the official game site, YouTube, Steam Community, Adsterra and other sites are provided for reference. Once you leave this site, the destination’s own privacy policy applies. We do not control those sites.

Legal bases and rights

Where applicable law provides rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection or portability, you can contact us using the address above. Because this site does not maintain an account database, we may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence or rely on the hosting provider for server-side records. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell personal information. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Retention

Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the request and keep an accurate correction record. Hosting logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings and policies. Browser localStorage remains until you clear it or reset the checklist.

Changes to this policy

If the site adds analytics, a new host, active advertising or a contact form, this policy will be updated and the effective date changed. A privacy policy update is not a claim that the game or its data changed.
